North Zone T20 heads to quarterfinals after thrilling Round 3

With two competitive rounds already setting the tone, the 2026 North Zone T20 Tournament intensified on April 26 as Round 3 results began to shape the quarterfinal picture.

Early momentum in the competition came from teams like Santa Cruz Sports Association and QPCC, who secured narrow wins in Round 1, while Barataria Ball Players and Savannah Boys stamped authority with dominant performances.

Round 2 saw The Harvard Club emerge as serious contenders, powered by Keegan Jones’ blistering century, while Savannah Boys and Combine All Stars also kept their campaigns alive.

In Round 3, consistency proved decisive.

The Harvard Club maintained its winning run with a comfortable seven-wicket victory over QPCC, thanks to composed unbeaten knocks from Kemuel Yard (32*) and Jerome Simpson (32*).

At the Brian Lara Recreation Ground, Santa Cruz continued their strong showing, edging Combine All Stars by eight runs, with Devon Sween (47) anchoring the innings and Cordell Andrews (3/19) starring with the ball.

Invincible returned to form at Invincible Ground, defeating Glenora by 23 runs.

Former Glenora captain Dusty Joseph played a pivotal role against his old club, top-scoring with 47 and chipping in with a wicket, while Rodwell Williams’ five-wicket haul sealed the result.

Meanwhile, Ebony Sports Club capitalized on a rain-shortened encounter at Ato Boldon Recreation Ground, chasing a revised target of 26 in just 3.3 overs.

Jesse Roland’s early six-hitting effectively ended Bourg Mulatresse CCC’s hopes.

After three rounds, teams like The Harvard Club, Santa Cruz Sports Association, and Barataria Ball Players appear to have built the strongest momentum heading into the knockout stage, while others face a fight to stay alive.

The tournament now shifts to the quarterfinals on May 2, with semi-finals scheduled for May 3 and the final set for May 9, as the battle for North Zone supremacy enters its closing phase.
