North Side Secure Lone Victory as Draws Dominate Round Six in North Zone Senior Division

Round six of the North Zone Senior Division two-day championship delivered a mix of dominance and closely fought stalemates, with only one outright result across the four matches.

Their strong first-innings total laid the foundation, before a disciplined bowling effort, led by Kendall Guerra, ensured there was no way back for their opponents.

The remaining three matches all ended in draws, though not without intrigue.

Combine All Stars and Barataria Ball Players were locked in a competitive battle, highlighted by a century from Kerwin Gonzales and a fine all-round bowling display from Joey Samuel, as Barataria safely negotiated the final innings.

Glenora Sports and The Harvard Club were engaged in a lower-scoring affair dominated by bowlers, while Savannah Boys came closest to forcing a result after posting over 500 runs across two innings.

However, despite a six-wicket haul from Amir Ali, Ebony Sports held firm to secure the draw.
