The North Side Future Stars (NSFS) formerly known as North Coast United Cricket Team was formed in 1999 by pioneers Steven St Hillaire and Alvin Campo who introduced cricket as an additional sporting discipline to the North Coast United Club at the time. This team brought together players from across the North Coast who shared a mutual love for cricket to compete.
Over the years, participation in the North Zone Cricket Competition formats have been maintained with notable highlights that include winning the Division 1 competition pre-Covid and more recently in the Senior Division League placing third in 2023 and second in 2024.
The club was rebranded to The North Side Future Stars in 2023 with the intent to provide structure, direction and to be the vehicle that drives development in sport throughout the North Coast. Our core comprises of members who have built the cricketing foundation with North Coast United together with young, vibrant sport activists who have taken up the mantle to forge new paths forward. The North Side Future Stars has adopted a multi-discipline approach to foster youth development through mentorship programmes, structured coaching and competitions.
