The club was born out of Woodbrook, Port of Spain and has been in existence since the 1940s, playing both cricket and football in the Queen’s Park Savannah and environs. In recent times the club has had many successes, playing in the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board, North Zonal Council Competitions. In 2013 the club won 3 out of 4 titles. The latest triumph would be the 2019 40 Over title.
Glenora Sports Club completed several community based initiatives over the many years of its life. For example, in 2012 and 2013 the club held a coaching clinic for form one students of the Woodbrook Secondary School, at the Queen’s Park Oval. The clinic attracted in excess 75 children during the two (2) year period.
The club also partnered with the Mucurapo West Secondary School, where a Turf Cricket Pitch was constructed in 2012 to enable the playing of cricket in the school.
