North Zone Treasures – Darren Bravo

North Zone Treasures

The North Zone Cricket Council continues to feature our Treasures, through this video series. In this episode, we recognize and acknowledge Darren Bravo, the prolific left-handed batsman from Santa Cruz.

Darren started in the North Zone as a bright U13 star and came through the different age groups maturing along the way. He played for Fatima College, North Zone, Queen’s Park Cricket Club, Trinidad and Tobago and West Indies.

The stylish middle-order batsman, from Santa Cruz, has a long heritage behind him. Lara, who they often likened him to in style and fluency, and a brother-Dwayne Bravo, who easily qualifies as a pioneer of world T20 cricket.

In the video below, he says love and passion for the game were the key ingredients in his emergence.
