North wins big against North East in U17 Inter-zone opener

North led by an unbeaten century (125) by Captain Aidan Samaroo, completed a comprehensive victory against North-East zone in the opening fixture of the Price Club Supermarket sponsored TTCB U17 tournament in group A action.

North won the toss and decided to take first strike on a good-looking Queen’s Park Oval pitch. North East may have thought that decision had worked in their favour when in the second over Sachin Emrit was caught by Joseph Fraser off the bowling of Avidesh Singh for just 2. North 3 for 1.
